See the Progress of SEO Strategy implemented

Discover how the SEO strategy I implemented from mid-February 2023 changed the website ranking, brought new sources of traffic, and generated first leads

Website – Key challenges at the beginning of the project:

1. New website (design completed at the end of December 2022 by another web designer)
2. Designed with WordPress on premium template
3. Audit done in mid-February confirmed that the website is scoring poorly on all key
website performance tests and has multiple technical errors (copy not optimised for SEO, images not
compressed, alt text missing, meta titles and descriptions not fit for purpose)
4. As no SEO strategy was implemented, the website had low direct traffic and no organic traffic
5. No leads and enquiries from clients
6. Ranking for brand name West London Painters fluctuated between 47-68 position

At the project’s outset, the brand name, also a key keyword, ranked between 47th and 68th. As soon as after 3 months, it proudly sits atop the list at 1st place, showcasing the remarkable progress of search engine optimisation

I designed a bespoke SEO strategy for this brand-new website that had no previous SEO efforts. At the outset, we carefully selected five keywords to target, with a primary focus on elevating the visibility of the brand name.

Organic Traffic Outranked Direct

In May, organic traffic surpassed direct traffic in volume, marking a significant milestone in this website’s growth.

Year 2024 - Current Ranking

One year after implementing the SEO strategy, this website continues to dominate the top rankings for the keywords targeted in the initial strategy, demonstrating the sustained effectiveness of seo methodology applied
